In 1982, Ronnie and Sandra McGlothlin set out to build a better roofing company with an initial team of eight roofing PROFESSIONALS.

The Empire Roofing customer list now includes some of the nation's largest and most successful companies i.e. American Airlines, CBRE, Philip Morris, Kraft Foods, and many other fortune 500 companies.

Empire Roofing owes its growth to hard work and word-of-mouth promotion. As satisfied commercial and industrial customers spread the word, the business grew along with its reputation for quality. By 1987, the company had hired essential and talented employees, including Matt Kelley, who today leads the company's sales and marketing efforts. 

Our affiliated locations are individually owned and separately operated by long-time industry professionals, although some administrative functions are centralized. Not including Empire Roofing HQ in Fort Worth has affiliates in San Antonio, Houston, Austin, El Paso, Tulsa (OK), Nashville (TN), Memphis (TN), Sunrise (FL), West Palm Beach (FL), Atlanta (GA) and Mexico.

Over the years, Empire Roofing became not only a better roofing company, but also became one of the best. The overwhelming response from satisfied customers has built extraordinary results that surprise even the founders, Ronnie and Sandra. Today, Empire Roofing employs over 500 people nationwide and has annual sales of $90 million. Empire sets the high standards by which others are measured, making it a leader in the industry.
